Rover App menu structure
  • Main Screen
    • GPS & Network Settings -
      Opens the general settings for the rover. Further info...
    • Scatter Diagram -
      Opens the Scatter Diagram screen. This screen displays successive points as read from the GPS receiver. The spread of these plots over a given time interval gives a good idea of the accuracy being achieved by the RTK GPS system. Typically the spread will not exceed 2cm and more usually is less than 1cm.
    • Enable File Transfers -
      Allows receipt of survey files from another Rover. Further info...
    • Check for Update... -
      Checks the Sure-Path server for software updates
    • Licence -
      Displays details of the Sure-Path "End User Licence Agreement" (EULA).
    • About Sure-Path... -
      Displays the Sure-Path version number and a link to the version history.

  • Survey Screen
    • New File...
      Clears all GPS data from the current memory.
    • Load File...
      Loads a previously saved survey file.
    • Save File
      Saves the current survey data to file. If a filename has not yet been chosen, you will be prompted for one.
    • Save File As ...
      Saves the current survey data to a filename of your choice.
    • Mapping Duration
      Sets the duration over which readings are taken before averaging when mapping a buoy position.
    • Buoy Locator...
      Opens the Buoy Locator screen which displays distance and direction to the buoy selected in Survey Mode.
    • Stakeout Mode...
      Enters a mode in which the coordinates for a "Start Position" and "Direction" can be set and which Sure-Path then uses to create a new course from scratch.
    • Export to PC via UDP
      Exports the current survey data to a PC so that it can be imported into a homologation program for official homologation prior to tournament.
    • Enable File Transfers
      Allows receipt of survey files from another Rover. Further info...
    • File Transfer ID...
      When transferring survey files from one rover to another, this user-set ID needs to be the same on both rovers. Further info...
    • Send File...
      Initiates the sending of a survey file from a rover. Further info...
    • Clear All Values (Keeps filename)
      Clears all current GPS co-ordinates from memory but keeps the current filename the same so that as you remark buoy positions, they will be saved under the same filename.
    • Licence...
      Displays details of the Sure-Path "End User Licence Agreement" (EULA).

      Displays the Sure-Path version number and a link to the version history.

  • Boat Lane Screen
    • Select Driver...
      Allows input of the driver name and management of a list of drivers.
    • Registered Driver Login...
      Allows a driver who has pre registered at the IWWF Drivers Portal (www.drivers.ski) to Login. Whilst logged in and whilst Scoring Mode is set to WaterskiConnect, all passes are stored on the WaterskiConnect server and are subsequently available for review by the driver (and possibly authorised officials).
    • Dual Courses (On/Off)
      Sure-Path can hold two boat lanes in memory and can toggle between them if this setting is enabled.
    • Select Course...
      Selects which survey file to load and use for boat lane tracking.
    • Send to Desktop Viewer
      Sends all the pass data for the current date to the Desktop Database Viewer
    • Export as CSV
      Exports the current boat lane path as a CSV format file for analysis by other software on a PC. This is a very cumbersome method at present and will be made much easier in the not too distant future.

      Opens the Boat Lane Settings screen. Further info...
